Hillsborough is well known for its rural feel and gorgeous trees. It’s also famous for its mansions and historic homes. One of the most historic homes is the Sidney Bazett Residence. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1939.
Another famous mansion is Carolands, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. It happens to be one of the country’s largest mansions. They do host complimentary tours during the year.
