Safety & Injury Prevention Training,
for Kids Ages 8-14
Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 3 – 5:30 PM
Check in as early as 3:00, class begins at 3:30

This non-certification First Aid & CPR class is for young babysitters or kids who want to learn how to respond to the most common pediatric medical emergencies.
The class will be taught by EMTs and Paramedics with an emphasis on prevention. The individualized, hands-on instruction will quickly cover a lot of material with plenty of time to ask questions.
Class Agenda:
- Assessment in a medical emergency: do I need to call 911 or not?
- CPR for adults, children and infants
- Airway issues: choking, drowning, allergic reactions, seizures
- Trauma: bleeding, burns, falls
We have room for 25 kids in the class. We are sponsoring this event for the community and covering 1/2 of the cost – click on the button below to sign up ($25/person).
